2D Motion Design / AFD Explainer Video

Freelance | Role: 2D Animator | France

A commissioned project to create an explainer video for AFD (Agence Française de Développement), a group that  funds, supports and accelerates the transition to a fairer and more sustainable world. Focusing on climate, biodiversity, peace, education, urban development, health and governance, their teams carry out more than 4,000 projects in France’s overseas departments and territories and another 115 countries. In this way, they contribute to the commitment of France and French people to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This was a collective effort of me and three of my team members. I worked on setting up and animating the following scenes:

Low Carbon Transition Scene

Micro animation to enhance the scene such as the blinking of the crocodile eye or a slight movement of the farmer is what brought he scene to life.

30 second Stitch of two scenes

I loved animating the rigs of the characters to bring them to life.
